What it’s good at
1. *Size*: One of the last true “small” flagships. Easy to use one-handed.
2. *Performance*: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 still handles gaming, multitasking, and AI features well.
3. *Camera*: Reliable day/night shots. Samsung’s Nightography and 3x zoom are useful.
4. *Software support*: Samsung promises 4 years OS updates + 5 years security. One UI 8.5 is the latest.

Things to know
– Charging is capped at 25W, so it’s slower than newer phones.
– Battery life is decent, not class-leading. Heavy users will charge daily.
– No S Pen – that’s only on the S23 Ultra.

Current status
Prices have dropped a lot since launch. In Nigeria listings it’s around 128GB/8GB config. If you’re buying now, check for battery health and make sure it’s getting One UI 8.5. 9d98
